You can't blame them...

You know you're living in a crazy world when
you see these pictures in your newspaper...

And you wonder, why these

people have actually nothing

better to do in their lives?

You may come to conclude

that these people are either brainless

or that they have a pea sized brain

trap in their pathetic heads.

Their targets were all Americans and Britons,

yeah yeah, and they ended up killing others

as well.

And so what even if they are able to wipe

out their whole enemy population,

you wonder what they will

get from it?

Self-satisfaction?

You doubt they can bring their

self-satisfaction to hell with them....

or maybe a background check should be

done on these terrorists as you assume

maybe too much of computer

games could have affected their already

tiny brains..

but then.......

remember this....

This is even better than Jay's so-called

And i witnessed this live..... crap!

First, they performed some "MAGNIFICENT" magic.

Now, they acted out the whole Counter Strike scene

in real live.

All your assumptions above are totally wrong

about them....and you can't blame them...

THEY INDEED DO HAVE A "LIFE"...

You should take back your words, especially about

the brain part, if you have thought of that.

So, What's Next?

Airplane ticket booked,
flying off on 15 February 2009.

This semester at HELP is probably
the boring-est sem ever with Ruey Yih
and Natalie's transfer to Iowa,
Becky becoming a permanent
resident in New Zealand and

...with the remaining EMO gang
members taking only 2 or 3
subjects since this is everyone's
last semester; HELP
doesn't seem as lively as it once
used to be or maybe, not even
lively at all.

The once after-class Mamak routine
that filled the place with laughters
and lame jokes, now only left with
silence and questions about our transfer
and outing plans for the upcoming
holiday, the very few last chance
left to relive those happy moments
once again.

Even so, such ability to hang around at
the Mamak lessened over these few months
since we didnt have that many same
classes together. Hence, the mamak
is now left with nothing but its significancy
relied only upon the memories of our presence.

Writing this with a heavy heart, the week
of my very last lecture and tutorial at HELP,
the week before i sit for my very last paper
at HELP, I couldn't help but reminisce about
my two, very short but yet extremely
memorable, years in college.

I remembered how reluctant i was to attend
college initially, the need to walk out of my comfort
zone. I remembered how i disliked learning
to adapt to that new environment with
unfamiliar faces in all the classes that
i attended. I hated getting to know people
all over again....

but nevertheless, i found great friends
throughout my new journey that helped
me wipe away my fears of alienation
in that new environment and allowed me to
regain back my confidence and
most of all, gave me the opportunity to
reform back to my previous happy-go-lucky
self that completes who i really am.

It felt like it was only yesterday, when
we were freshmen's in college, still
indecisive about our future ahead.
Little did we know, that time passed
by swiftly and by early next year,
all of us would be scattered across
the world, separated by hundreds
and thousands of miles apart.

After this coming
exam, we would all be getting
mentally prepared, just as we
found our comfort zone, now
we have to leave it again
for not only a new environment
but new people as well as
learning a new culture.

It's finally time to say goodbye
to the good ol' days.

Shopping Depression

Shopping for clothes, shoes, bags
can be so much of fun and each time
you get your hands on an item that you fancy,
the feeling is euphoric, almost like you've
drown yourself with a whole bottle of whiskey.

but not all shopping trips are that smooth.

Ever seen yourself in such a situation

"Sorry miss, this is the only one we have"
as the salesperson holds on to the last
stock of that white sweater that you
really want but being Asian, that tiny
dot of dirt on that sweater was more
than enough to make you have second
thoughts of buying it

or

" Sorry miss, the item that you want is sold out"
worst still is when they say it's sold out at all
outlets

or

You happily tries on a pair of gorgeous heels,
you know you're gonna buy it DEFINITELY
and as the salesperson scurries off to the back
of the shop to look for your size, you happily
imagine yourself flaunting your new heels
for the next few outings with your friends.
And suddenly, the salesperson interrupts
your thoughts by giving you a bad news.

"Sorry no size"
"Sorry no more the color that you want"

How frustrating is that?

Just knowing you're one step from owning
the item that you want, drives you crazy
especially at night when you can't sleep
and you roll around your bed thinking of
how you nearly own the shirt or bag that
you wanted so much.

And for people like me, who's so persistent
in looking for the items that i want,
it can be seriously depressing.

I wouldn't want anything QUITE SIMILAR
to replace the item that i want which includes
material, design and etc.

I ONLY want something SIMILAR or EXACTLY
ALIKE to replace the item that i could have
owned.

I am picky.
I know what i like and
i would ONLY want THAT.

Currently, i'm suffering from
my shopping depression again
which is not a surprise since
it's normal for girls to have an
extremely long list of items
that they wanna buy and the
list keeps adding on almost
everyday since we use our
gifted eyes to full use especially
when we're in shopping malls.

I've been looking for a few items
for the past few weeks or even
months

If you ever come across these items,
i mean really similar or exactly
alike, pls immediately let me know.
I'll rush to wherever it is to get it.

on my priority of the items,
so the item that i have been
searching high and low is
this super beautiful,
black kimono top.

I fell in love with it at first sight,
believe me, even my brother
asked me to buy this and that
is kinda unusual since he and I has
never agreed on clothing style
before, ever.

I asked Rainbowmallows and she
said she only has one stock for this
piece and it was sold out when i
first saw it. It's ordinary right?

Yes, i like it because it's so ordinary
but yet i couldn't find anything alike.
There are kimono-like tops but i
don't like those with prints on it
or those with shorter sleeves.
I heart those butterfly sleeves.
Even when there's a similar top
like this, only other colors are
available.
I dont want any other colors,
i like black for this piece.

White off shoulder

I just love this off shoulder
white top, isn't it lovely.
She said she got it from MNG
pretty long ago, so no chance.

I love the material and how the top
hangs loosely on her.
Most of the off shoulders i found
are tight fitting or knitted-like top.
I like the material of this top
and i like it plain white.
Don't like any designs on it.

As for this piece, i'm just lookin
for different variety.
I prefer dark colors like
black, white, grey on this.
MNA is selling this, exact same one.
Wouldn't like it in maxi-style
and prefer it to be knee length.

Review Review Review

Yes, it's been quite some time
since i updated my blog
because as usual, kathleen is
always busy, not with her
assgs but with her dramas.

But ok lar, for the past few days,
i was quite a good girl...
almost completed my dev psy assg
and preparing for my very last
public speaking speech.
Finally. Thank God.

So let me do some short reviews here

I'll first start off with

Miss No Good / Bu Liang Xiao Hua

by Wilber and Rainie Yang

Haha i chose this pic cause Wilber
looks so funny here.
Anyway after watching 9 episodes
of this drama... i love it. Because it's
just so funny and not overly
dramatic which can be quite tiring
watching those dramas at times.

This is just a very simple-happy
drama. Still waiting for the other
4 episodes to be released, damn
Taiwan only shows 1 episode
each week, damn potong.

What i love best about this
drama would be the fact that
because this drama has only
13 episodes, somehow, everything
is at a much faster pace. Like
immediately the start of the
drama, that someone already
likes dat someone... so it's
pretty quick. The drama is
really funny =)

As for the pairing between
Wilber and Rainie, really quite
fresh. Something new. They're
quite cute together.

But during one of the Behind-the-scenes
when Rainie and Wilber had to do
some kissing scenes and after filming
that, Rainie went all so "ewww" when
she said that "How can they do this to me?
Wilber is like my brother"

Hmmm and so i guess,
there wouldnt be much rumours
about Wilber and Rainie.
S-M-A-R-T continues then.
SMART actually stands for
Support Mike And Rainie
Together. How cute.
LOL

Dean is an amazing actor.
He's Japanese. He's cute.
Apparently he's in Corner with Love
as well.

Not only is the drama funny but
the behind the scenes are fantastic.
Wilber is absolutely hilarious- he's
either fooling around or eating.
Seriously, HE SURE CAN EAT.
He eats too much and i'm surprise
that he's still so fit.

And Rainie sure made all Wilber
fans super duper jealous when
she took Wilber's phone and
started going through his
messages, haha and Wilber
comes jumping in and
pretends to act calm and
went like "Come on girl,
let me have that for awhile" and
Rainie and everyone
went like
"Ahh, you have anything
inside that cannot be seen by others?"

All hail to Wilber,
he's the SUPER NG KING.
He always forget his lines.

Ahh but oh well,
i'll rate this a 7 out of 10.
Cannot rate too high just yet
until i watch the ending cause
normally Taiwanese dramas'
endings are very potong.

Next, Rainie's new
Proclamation: Not Yet A Woman
album

Finally this girl has grown up.
I love the new image.
Much more mature.
Much better.
Anything but the jellyfish hairstyle
please!

I've got almost all her albums and
all of it, out of 10
songs, i would only like 2 or 3
songs. Yes, her previous
albums, in my opinion,
were that bad.

But i gave her another chance
seeing that i love her new image
better. And so i guess she deserves
this chance very well
because her new album
sounds pretty good.

This album is pretty different in terms
of song style, i see that she's trying
something new. Which is good because
we're bored of those cute-sy
songs but of course in this album, she
still remained those wonderful hits-like,
for instance, Ai Mei, Que Yang and
all those OST's songs that she sang.

I practically love her whole album
except for these few tracks

Track 3- Huo Xing (Mars)

It's so-so. Nothing to shout about.

Track 7- Ai Wo Qing Shut up (Love me pls Shut up)

Totally sucky. What's with the shut up?!?
It just doesnt go well with the whole song.
Maybe without the "shut up" words in the
song, it might sound better.

Track 9- Nu Sheng Wo Zhui Da
(Among the girls i'm the biggest)

Just from the title of the song, you know it
sounds stupid. So needless to say.

However, i love especially

Track 1 - Tai Fan Nao (Too Much Trouble)

It has a rocky edge to it, listen to it
a few times, you'll slowly love it.
Maybe you have to adapt to this
newer style of Rainie?

Track 2- Dai Wo Zou (Take Me Away)

Beautiful lyrics, beautiful song.
I immediately love it when i heard it.

Track 3- Wo De Ai Diao Dian Di

Okay I am super addicted to this
track. It sounds so weird but nice.
I love this. So addictive.

Finally, Corner With Love.
I gave up 8tv because there's
way too many advertisements
and i realised 8tv cut out certain scenes
and they also cut out the kissing scenes.

Huh? 8tv so conservative one meh?
Furthermore Xiao Zhu and Barbie's
kisses in the show is so mild compared
to many others i have watched before.

Anyway, i finally finished watching it
in just a day's time because i know my
stupid streamyx will cause me
lots and lots of problem.

And true enough it did because
after i finish watching this, a few
hours later, my internet K.O.ed.

This drama i would give it a
7/10 which is pretty good la...
since all my top dramas only
get 8/10.

But eventhough this drama
doesnt beat all my fav dramas
but when it comes to
the crying rate, i give it a 10 out
of 10.

The last few episodes were so
annoying because it's so dramatic
and sad. It's like poor Xiao Zhu,
okay, Xiao Zhu's character.

but i love Xiao Zhu's
acting. Very convincing especially
those scenes when he was
so sad and tried holding back
his tears. He did it so well.
Even the parts he teared,
it was really heartbreaking.
So not bad =) Worth watching.

And Dean too. So adorable.
But hor, how come the rich,
supposedly prince charming
for Barbie in the drama, not good
looking at all ?!? No offence le but
they could have gotten a better guy
for that and and and summore
there was one part in the drama,
a line in the drama when Xiao Zhu said

" He's richer than me. He's much better
looking than me"

and i was like, OMG, Xiao Zhu looks a million
times better than that guy and =.= that line
sounded just so weird. If that guy was
Dean then maybe still acceptable lar....
sorry no offence to the rich guy, whatever
his name is, but maybe he doesnt have the
prince charming look to play this character?

I'm so mean. I know.
Hahahahaha. Sue me.

These days are passing by so slowly

and meaninglessly since i did nothing

but glued my butt on to the couch and

watched TV all day long, especially when

my Internet went down.

As meaningless as my days are,

I have accomplished some meaningless

achievements for the past one week.

I have completed watching

Speech of Silence

Cast: Kenneth Ma and Kate Tsui

I like this show since i have a total weakness

for lovey-dovey shows. Haha, okay

it's not that lovey dovey and isn't as

dramatic as all the Korean love dramas

i have watched but still the storyline is

simple and sweet. If you wanna watch

a drama just for relaxation and wouldnt

mind a drama that revolves around 2

characters then yes, this is the drama

for you.

Eventhough i love this but since i'm such a

big romance drama/movie freak and if you're

the same as me, pls do not have

extremely high expectations for this.

Comparing TVB standards for love dramas,

this is just mild and definitely cannot be

compared to Seventh Day. So i watch

this for the casts and every once in

awhile, you'll have a good laugh.

Like what they say, simplicity

is always the best.

Currently, I am watching

Gem of Life

Dramas, dramas, dramas and more dramas.

Just based on the picture and the title of

the show itself, i don't have to explain but

it's another one of those, Moonlight Resonance-like

or Revolving Doors of Vengeance-like.

Rich and Famous.

Backstabbings.

Lies.

Cunning Plans.

Greed.

Not recommended for the weak-hearted.

You wouldnt want to have

a heart attack over some fictitious,

over-dramatic storyline.

Another drama that i'm watching currently

is Miss No Good, finally a Taiwanese drama.

Casts: Wilber Pan, Rainie Yang and Dean Fujioka

Well first thought before i watch this was that

this is gonna be real stupid, well even the title

sounds stupid.

Storyline- typical Taiwanese drama.

But as lame as it sounds, i am hooked

on to it. Why? Because it's really funny

and no, you won't be laughing over

some witty phrases but instead

for their stupidity, which is quite

entertaining.

Initially, i find Rainie Yang's character

to be really weird and squeeky, girly,

weird, act-cute, stupid, ridiculous,

hyper, crazy, weird.... and VERY WEIRD.

She's totally naive and it really got on

my nerves at the start but then i soon

come to love it because Wilber is always

picking on her. And gosh her wig is so

ugly =.= after watching this, you

just want back the old Rainie Yang

from Devil Beside You.

Ohhh and Dean Fujioka is so cuteeeeee!

Okay, finally the third show that i

am watching currently from 8TV

is Corner With Love since i'm too

lazy to stream.

I know that even after completing

this show, it'll never reach close to

my top favourite dramas like

Devil Beside You, It Started with a Kiss

or Fated to Love You.

It's just a so-so drama. I'm starting to

like it but still the impact not there yet.

I hate barbie xu's character....

the very "dai siu je" and even after

her parents went bankrupt, she still

acted so dai siu je-ish and ordered

Alan Luo around.

Eeesh and Alan Luo actually does

go around carrying her bags and etc wth

I would have just thrown her luggage

bag into her stuck up face and ask her

to take it herself....

And now you know how i pass by

each meaningless days doing

meaningless things and accomplished

watching so many meaningless

shows.

Ta-ta & I'll now continue on my

meaningless day by watching more

meaningless shows

pushed open the door to
the familiar sight.

Quiet as usual but
that's all i need
after a long journey
back here.

I quickly turned back
to shut the door and
scurried off to the back
to fulfill Rule No.1.

I was walking passed
the kitchen when the
heaven's devil inside
the cupboard call on
to me.

I stopped and without
a second thought, i walked
towards it and pulled
open the cupboard's door.

I glanced through the
variety of choices and finally
set my eyes on a plain blue
wrapper. I immediately
lunged for it and as i
hold it in my hands,
i laughed to myself
inwardly. Perfect,
all MINE.

I quickly climbed
up the staircase,
placed my bag on the floor
as i turned on my desktop.

I settled
down onto the chair
comfortably. While
waiting, i teared
open the plain blue
wrapper and popped
the ever-so-delicious
American cookie into
my mouth. Indeed,
it was heaven. But the
fats and calories...........
oh well!

Finally. I thought.
I double click the icon.
Pops out a window, loading
its homepage.....

short. Yah, they told me i could call up

the billing department so that they could

cut down my October bill but what's

the use of that if the problem continues

to occur............

Okay, just tell me what type of service provider

is this? I think i am too nice.. i should shout and

scream at them!
