    .....Places....

    Went down to Flinder's street.
    Had Hungry Jacks for lunch.

    Flinder's street

    Kath @ Federation Square

    BB @ Federation Square

St.Paul Cathedral.... Nice old church =)

    Inside it =)

After lunch, went for a boat cruise.

And here we are looking at buildings, docks,
    and etc.

    We....

After the boat cruise, we left to Crown plaza.
And Crown is famous for its Casino.
    We did enter =)but...

...we didn't really gamble, just played those
machine ones. Didn't really win or hit any jackpot
    ( - _________ - !!! )

Then we left to Waterfront City, for
    window shopping.

Saw this super cute art piece =)
A cow stuck onto a tree.

    Ferriswheel =) currently under construction/
maintenance, so cant have a ride on it.

Unfortunately, the summer sales here really
super geng that we just have to buy eventhough
our main purpose was to window shop. Hehe.

Bb got two pants, each for $30.
It was really worth it esp. the black pants,
    from $99.90, it's cut down to $29.90.
    Cool eh?

As for me, i got these "house slippers"

Grey = Mine; Black = bb

Got this mag because the front page
got me so curious. I paid $4.70 for some
shoe throwing scenarios & bitching sessions,
catfights, afterall make life more interesting.
    Unfortunately, nothing much ACTUALLY HAPPENED.

    Wasted my money.

Got myself a black skinny jeans.
    Love it so much ( ^ _________ ^ )

    And this super cute, vintage-ish
    top...

Let's move away from purchases and
let's see what i can conclude about
    Australians & their beloved country
    after almost a week here.

If you have a fetish for undies and a weak spot for school
girls, you'll love it here anyway because school
uniforms here are SUPER SHORT. I don't know how
many times i saw a person "jau kwong" because it's
countless, not that it was INTENTIONAL. To think
about it, some of these girls couldn't be bothered either!

Everyone is telling me, since i'm in Melbourne,
i should at least go to a strip club once just for the
experience. I'll let you know then, if i ever go for one.
    Hahahaha!

Oh oh, you'll be shock when you turn on the local TV
in the night, they'll be advertising "text chat_hotsex
to 32888" and on screen there's all these young girls
in their lingeries. Omg! What if a young kid is staying up
late at night watching TV as well ???!!? Not like it's
even a porn channel, just a normal one.

Bb thinks the girls here are super open. I couldn't agree more!
Too many of the times we've encountered girls that fit our
criteria of "super open". So maybe it's normal here!

What shall i say, different culture? =)

A new nutshell that i'll have to get accustomed to.

the GIRL was here at 9:59 PM - Melbourne .

    Chapel Street Heaven =)

Orientation for the past two days was
    plain crap.

    B-o-r-i-n-g.

    Culture shock?
I don't think i need to be informed about that.

And the worst was the orientation based
    on faculty yesterday.

It was supposed to be important.
But i think it was just a waste of time.

Other than bringing us around the campus,
showing us places like the gym, library,
hang out area to drink beer and etc.,
there was this super boring welcome
speech about how we made the right
    choice for choosing Monash Uni.
    Gosh!

Luckily, yesterday was the last day
    of orientation. Yay!

And today, bb & i went down to
    Chapel Street. Supposedly to
    see bb's streetwear stuff.

So here i am, getting ready to go out.

And i know everyone still misses me,
so i took another one =) while waiting
for bb to collect his clothes back into
    the house.

I smell narcissism. Do you? =)

I thought bb will be the only one
    enjoying walking on chapel street.

I may be a newly converted Stussy fan
but that doesnt mean i love streetwear
    garments that much.

But boy was i wrong.... because Chapel
Street is freaking long and there's so
many tiny lil' boutiques all along the
    street.

I call it a shopping street heaven because every
single shop is having summer sales right
now.... 50% off, 75% off and signs plastered
everywhere "Nothing over $20" or "Nothing
    over $30".

Vintage, retro, casual wear, summer dresses,
formal wear, prom dresses, bohemian style...
the list is endless...they've got everything.

    & i spent guiltily $200.

The street is so long that i walked for 4 hours
before leaving back home and there were still
some shops that i've missed and didnt have
the chance to check out their clothes yet.
    Crazy!

    I love summer sales <3
    Cant wait for winter sales....

Though guilty, i'm happy with my
    purchase.....

Yes, a new perfume =) I left my Secret Wish Anna Sui
at home. And the lady actually recommended this
since this is really new and yes, it's David/Victoria Beckham's
line. Just giving it a try....smells pretty decent.

A moisturizer... skin getting really dry =(
    even in summer.

    3 PLAYBOY socks =) Was $29.90,
got it for $14....I love sales.

Very cute black top for only $30

A brown trench coat-like for only
    $20... unbelievable and
super worth it since its material
    is pretty thick.

A pair of faded jeans for only $30.
Can you believe it? So cheap!!!!

And the best purchase of the day was this pair
of boots. Was $49.90, got it for $17.90 ....

Loving my brand new brown boots.
I liked the black one as well but =( no size
    for me. *sigh*

Oh yeah, i overburnt my microwaved
mantao (plain white pao) this morning =(
smoke was seeping out from every edge of
    the microwave.

I first microwaved it 3 minutes and it was
    still freaking hard eventhough the
bottom part of the mantao was a lil' burnt....
Not edible unless ur teeth is harder than metal
cuz not even my fork could poke through the
    surface of the mantao.

The intelligent me, put the plate back into
the microwave and set the timer to two
minutes. Suddenly, i smelt something burning.
and the next thing i know, the bottom part of
the mantao was releasing its gas. HAHAHHAHAHAHA.
And the smell was real bad. The whole house
    had the burning smell. ewwwwww!!!

The microwave still has got the burnt smell,
    even after so many hours.

    Pictures, pictures, pictures...

    Too lazy to blog.

But i've finally uploaded pix onto my
    comp and resized them all.

House that i was staying temporarily in when
    i first reached Melbourne.

    Monash Uni, Caulfield campus

    ...campus.....

    *yawns* and campus....

Let's move away from pix of schools
and universities. They bore me so.....

    Now this is better....

Town - flinder's street. Super cute carriage
    on the road =)

and on Saturday, bb & I went to the Melbourne Zoo.

Believe me it's so much better than Malaysia's 1.

No mosquitoes. Sunny yeah, but you wont sweat
AT ALL because it's windy and cooling.

Most Aussie ppl pay $20 ++ to have picnic
    in the zoo.....

    and the road not taken.............

    ...trying to be poetic pulak!

    Cute kangaroo.....

Me & the giraffes.... don't know why but
    Aussie's giraffes are real short.

    Butterflies =) my fav

    Me with one of it....

Wait... am i in Melbourne? or still in Malaysia?

    Tiger ....

    bb & elephant...

    Me & the elephant =)

This is a monkey. Pretty right this monkey?

    Bb & i

The sky here in Melb is freaking pretty esp.
when it's cloudless in the afternoon.

Penguins were so small & cute.

We had our lunch in the zoo itself.

    Wasn't cheap *sigh*

    Bb's tomyam beef rice.

This was super yummy. Salmon. *drools*

Bb posing at the jap's garden.

    Lion....

    There's 100 over pictures more,
    can't be uploading it all....

and so i end the zoo trip with
the stuff we got from the zoo.....

Super uber CUTE penguins floating in this
cube filled with some sort of liquid.

Oh and a cute koala bear =)

On Sunday, went to Queen Victoria Market
with bb and his cousin sister.

The spanish dougnut was super tasty
and many cheap stuff being sold over there.

Then we head down to Chinatown and had
our lunch at this korean restaurant.

    Chicken

    Side dishes...

    Side dishes

This kimchi soup is so addictive =) Me <3

    but it was still edible....*sigh*

Today, bb & I went down to Southern Cross
    to shop =)

    Totally shopping heaven.

Everything is so worth it and so cheap.
Levi's jeans to clothes to shades....
arghh, anything you can think of.

    The stuff we bought.... actually,
i only bought a shirt. Bb bought
    4-5 shirts there.

He got two shirts from Giordano
    and another two Stussy shirts.
One from DFO and another from
    some Flinder's street shop selling
    Stussy and etc.....

Ooooo we did go down to flinder's street.
    Had Hungry Jack's for lunch.
Totally the bomb. Fast food here is much
better than the ones back at home!
    More variety i supposed.

And we had Krispy Kreme doughnuts
as well. It was tasty and all but i still
dont understand why ppl keep telling me
    "Must try Krispy Kreme".

It tasted good but still not as good as JCo.
I mean, the doughnuts sold in Krispy Kreme
tasted more like those from Dunkin' Donuts
back at home, which is just so common.

Went back home around 5 pm and cooked
fried rice again. And this time everything
went well. Yes, including the rice =)

    Totally perfect! =)

So let's see what Stussy shirt bb's got!

A purple and grey Stussy t-shirt. None of
it over $35. Freaking cheap right?

And this was what i got....

You know how much i love
    checks and all!

So yes, i got myself checks again.....

but this is one of the coolest gingham shirts
    i have seen....

    Stussy 3-colored long sleeves gingham.

Wouldnt believe the price. It was on
sales.... Ori was $99.55 and i got it
    for $49.55

Stussy has got a bigger range of clothes
for the ladies over here compared
to any streetwear shops that sell
    Stussy clothes in Malaysia.

    I think i'm becming a big Stussy fan <3

Too lazy and too tired to post up
pictures taken @ the Melbourne Zoo
    and Melbourne city!

    Next post!

I'm loving the internet speed here.

Weeee! But bb's speed is even better- 1 MB/s
    *sigh*

Oh yeah currently watching TVB's Emergency Unit
& the Greatness of a Hero =) nice....

    Days in Caulfield

    After several days in Caulfield,
    it's time to start cooking.

Home-made spag =( failure... too watery.
But still it was a good meal. Food at home
is always better than the ones outside.

    and Salad of course....

This will be my lunch everyday once classes
start =) on a super strict diet!

And today, eug & i went to Chadstone
    mall.

Took the train this morning because
we were too lazy to walk to Caulfield
    to take the bus.

And it was really cold & windy.

Had our lunch @ Rasa Malaysian Cafe.

This super spicy nasi goreng is THE BOMB!
    It's sooooooo spicy!
    Yummy!

And, i've finally gotten myself a new pillow & comforter! =)

Bought groceries & some other necessities! Really new xperience 4 me since i HAVENT FOLLOWED my parents for groceries shopping for like don't know how many decades...

And OMG, things are pretty cheap over here.

Yes, clothes especially. Almost the same price as Malaysia or cheaper.

Remember my old, white & dirty Roxy flip flops that i love so much because i paid RM 60++ for it?

*bluek* Roxy flip flops only cost like $12.95 here and yes, after converting it's only around RM 30 or less.

WTH RIGHT? SO FREAKING CHEAP.... DIRT CHEAP!

Of course, i got myself a new one.....

    <333333>

& bb got one quicksilver flip flop for himself. $20? Still dirt cheap! =)

Weeeee.... GUESS is freaking cheap here as well. Especially now that all its handbags & wallets are on big sale.

*sigh* and i thought i could control my shopping habit here. It's too late. There's just too many nice things around that i saw....

Going to melbourne city tommorow =) 'till then

the GIRL was here at 11:13 PM - Melbourne .

    Melbourne, here i am...

*waves* Hey people, i'm back again
but now thousands of miles away from
    my real home.

    How's Melbourne? Pretty fine.

First day was tough because i was
    totally exhausted. Couldnt sleep at
    all in the plane... uncomfortable.
I can nvr sleep on planes.
    Just need a real bed.
    Missed home like crazy!
    Felt so lost over here.
    Was so tired...

...I felt like fainting but still
    had to do my enrolments,
open bank acc & get a new
    aussie number.

    Lotsa Asian people here esp.
    the campus, even more than
    the Australians themselves.
    Almost like a ratio of 4: 1.
    Maybe.

    and of course, majority of
    the Asians = Malaysian

Food is nice here, lotsa thai,
    indonesian, korean, malaysian
    food.

But nothing beats, the real spicy
    Malaysian food... the closest was
the sambal from the indonesian shop.

Food is pretty pricey but served in super
    HUGE PORTION. No wonder everyone
who leaves to Aussie and eats out almost
everyday gets super fat when they get
    back to KL.

Seriously no joke, that huge portion is
more than enough for my lunch & dinner.

    Weather here is whacky.
    It's pretty cold in summer.
    But not all day round.

    Sometimes it gets really cold
very early in the morning, gets
super hot and sunny in the afternoon
and can get really windy and cold
at night as well. Weird weather.

    Things i hate in Melbourne-
    Hate the whole saving water
    & electricity crap. Something
    about Australia having
    shortage of water.

When i reached Melb, i was staying
    at a friend's hse temporarily. I hate
that house. You on the bathroom lights
and it goes off by itself after 2 mins to
save electricity and so that you wouldnt
take a long shower. Save water. WTH.

Thank god, i'm staying now in a diff house
permanently for a year. And the lights
do not go off by itself.

    Things i love about Australia-
Friendly & Helpful people. And you feel
    safe walking down the street.
People even leave their door gates open.

Furthermore, crossing big roads is not
that scary. Unlike in Malaysia, even if
you're crossing using the zebra crossing,
you have to be careful. Over here, even if
    they're speeding, they'll stop immediately
to allow you to cross =)

I just settled down & unpacked everything
yesterday in my new 1 year home. So didnt really
get to take pictures yet. Just got some of my new house
& new room to show my dad. Too lazy to re-take
    nicely again, so here goes

This is where we clean all our clothes =)

The bathroom on the 2nd floor =)

and my room is on the third floor

Cute my bedsheet? brought it over
from KL =) Yet to buy a new comforter
& pillow. So currently, using the thin
pink blanket that i brought over. *sigh*

Oh yeah, my room has got a tv & dvd
player as well. If only i knew i would
have brought along all my dvds-
Jay MVs, koizora, secret, etc etc.
    *sigh*

Got a new LG touch screen phone for free =)
when i signed up for a line here.
    It's super cute keke!

Eug has gone for orientation. So i'm alone until
evening. All my housemates are Malaysians.
    swt

Oh yeah cool thing about my house is that
rent includes water, gas, electricity and
unlimited internet =) woots. NO QUOTA.
yay & speed is much much faster.

    My breakfast- cereals.

Saddening. What about nasi lemak? chee cheong fun?
    fried mee?

Think i'll skip lunch.... =( afraid
i'll set the kitchen on fire if i were
    to cook my instant noodle.
and i'm too lazy to walk out.

the GIRL was here at 1:14 PM - Melbourne .

    Goodbye to You

I'll be MIA for maybe a week or two =)
depending how fast i get the person over
there to set up my internet connection.

    Happy Valentines Day!
To the broken hearted people, this song is for you.
    One of my all-time favourites...

    Michelle Branch- Goodbye To You

Of all the things I believed in
I just want to get it over with
    tears form behind my eyes
    but I do not cry
Counting the days that past me by

I've been searching deep down in my soul
Words that I'm hearing are starting to get old
Feels like I'm starting all over again
The last three years were just pretend and I say

I used to get lost in your eyes
And it seems that I can't live a day without you
Closing my eyes & you chase my thoughts away
To a place where I am blinded by the light
    but it's not right

    Goodbye to you
Goodbye to everything I thought I knew....
You were the one I love
The one thing that I tried to hold on to....

Gonna miss everyone here in Malaysia.

    'Till we meet again =)

    Another one...

Farewell dinner with high school friends

    First venue: House Cafe
    Date: 12th Feb 2009

Thanks first of all to Melanie for helping me
    call everyone =)

Thanks to Jing ying, xue wei, chee guan,
yu shen, huei yeow, kheng onn, soon tat,
vun hau, siang su, sim, panya, fahai, cheng
yek, wai sion and kim horng
    for attending =)

    * if i left out anyone's name, sorry =.=

Oops caught on Ying's camera- Chee Guan, me
& Melanie gossiping about *ahem* something

    Chee Guan, me & Mel

    Me & Wei2... omg she's so freaking
cute can? Exactly like a china doll
    1!!!!! Envy

But then again, she was always
    this cute... hehehe

Me & the super sexy ying =)

eh don't lar wear so sexy!
If i'm a guy, my eyes would have
    also popped out lar...
    Hahahaha

    Like again... =)

Omg look at my face =.= so weird 1!

Thanks to Yu Shen lar, i wanted
to burst out laughing when he tried
    to do his kawaii pose.

The girls- Ying, Wei2, me, Mel

    Us again....

Ying showing off her camwhoring skills
    Hahahahahhaha

Us again while the guys were busy
    playing cards *sigh*

They really have no life 1 !!!
    After snooker, then cards. OMG!

    Mel & I =)

Me & the super duper cute Wei2

Me & Cheng Yek a.k.a Kai yek,
eh now new nickname dy, fei chai yek.

    Venue 2: Cola Club

Yu Shen & fei chai yek

    Jing Ying & Wei2 abandoned Mel & i.
They had to go home early.

So only left Me, Mel & the guys.

And we started chatting about some Australia stuff.
Asking me all the "wu liao" question about
    psychology.

Suddenly, Mel & I came up with an idea.
We dared Kim Horng to go sing on stage.

Everyone said he could sing and all that lar
but since Mel & I nvr seen it with our own eyes
and hear it with our pair of ears, we couldn't
believe them so easily. Chui sui very big 1, they all.
Furthermore, it's a punishment since he was the
    last to arrive.

At first he said he will sing since it's a farewell.

BUT both Mel & I thought he wouldnt have
the guts to do so. Maybe he'll run away last
    minute?

Cheng Yek suggested the song "peng you"
hahahahaha which i thought was super funny.
    And like damn classic wei....

We asked the waitress whether he could sing
on stage and she said can but the singers/
keyboard players were all having a break.
So we had to wait =.= *swt*

And i still wasnt convinced that he would
really go up there and sing.

Wai Sion even showed me a videoclip
of Kim Horng singing at the same cafe
previously and i still wasnt convinced
    by that video.

Might be a prank mar... somebody who
looks like Kim Horng, cannot meh?

Haha..... & you know i'm finally
convinced when he was really up
    there singing "背叛"
    (bei pan/betrayal).

    Why so emo 1?

I recorded the video but wont be
uploading because the sound not very
clear and could hear us laughing away
because Wai Sion said the keyboard
player, in certain angles, looks like
    Sim, hahahahahahahaha

    If you're wondering who's Sim....

    Mel, Me... him...

*claps claps* Me & the singer of the night,
    Kim Horng

Wai Sion, Vun Hau, Me, Mel!

Omg look at Vun Hau, fat dy after going
to Melbourne for like what, 1 year?

    For a guy, okay la...
    For a girl, big no-no

Sim, Me, Fahai oops, he wants me
to call him as Eric instead =.= kept reminding
    me wth. Lolx.

    Picture of the lifeless ppl.

When ying & wei2 was still here,
we took a family pic... owh so sweet!

But wth, why so many faces missing 1....
panya? fahai? kim horng? etc etc

left to right: susu, vun hau, mel, me, wei2, ying,
sim, onn, chee guan, wai sion, yu shen, huei yeow,
    soon tat

Panya/ah mien is super picture shy.
Everytime we lift up the camera, he
    perasan-ly covers his face! Muahahhahaha

Anyway, thanks Chee Guan for sending me home
    like again! hahahaha!

Dont worry Huei Yeow, Melanie & I (positive + negative)
will be back together again to make you deaf =)

    The ppl who needs help....

    The people who needs HELP!

    Venue: Midvalley
    Date: 12th February 2009

    Last lunch together.
    Me leaving to Melbourne.
    Roxy leaving to Queensland.
Bella leaving to either aus or nz soon.
And lame-o Feng Jin leaving to the States.

We had pan mee for lunch & pearl milk tea
    @ Little Taiwan.

Poor Bella found some insect in her drink
after she drank like what, half the cup?
    Hahaha.....

And Feng Jin was definitely entertaining us all
    with his usual lame antics.

    Me, Rox, super emo- Bella

Seriously, she was even more emo than Roxy
    & I.

    Picture of the year:-

    HAAHAHAHAHAHAHHAAH...
I really cant stand this Feng Jin, wth.

Btw Rox, don't u think the both of them looks
pretty compatible in this pic? *winks winks*

Haha let's hope the both of them nvr come
across my blog ^_______^ Oh wait it
should be, LET'S HOPE BELLA'S BF
    doesn't come across my blog.....
    wahahahahahhahahah!!!

    Me & Rox =)

    Another one....

I think we took like don't know
    how many pictures before we
    were satisfied with it.

    Usual lar, when two picture
    perfectionists come together,
it's almost hard to take a picture
that both will be satisfied with.

Unlike this guy, who complained that
i'm being picky. He went through
the pix in my cam and said

" Got difference meh? Your face
looks the same in all the pictures"

    Zha dou.

    Me & Feng Jin

and i still forced him to until i felt
    satisfied with my pictures =)

    girls mar... what to do?

    Me & bella

    and again...........

    Group picture!
Look even my cam wanna be inside the pic =)

    We took this four times?
We didnt like the first two hahahaha!

Probably the waiter was cursing inside.
Not only did we make him take four times
but we only had pearl milk tea and we sat
there so darn long, making loads of noise =.=

Ahhh, definitely gonna miss you guys!
And yes Bella, i'll remember you don't worry.

Haha, feng jin said her voice became rather shaky
like as if she was gonna cry.

    Damn emo = ______ =

    ♥ Thursday, February 12, 2009 ♥
    A lil' earlier....

Bb & i celebrated Valentines Day & our 2nd year
    Anni. together today.

In the afternoon, we had Formosa for lunch.
    Yummie, Taiwan food!

I'm gonna miss the chicken like crazy....

And the rice with egg *sigh*

    Bb's soup

    And pearl milk tea <33>*happiness*

I did sand art. It's childish but it's damn
fun.... Oh well, you cant take the kid
    out of Kathleen..!

Nice? I did for bb 1! Super uber cute.
Except for the eyes and the wings.

    Us =)

    My new shades... =)

Oh yah remember i was complaining
about how my watch strap was spoilt
and how much i loved it and all that...

    weee....

    It's alive again! Yay!
    Brand new, clean white strap.

My dad helped me changed it
from some Guess shop or something
    like that.

    Guess...

    ...where we're at?

Niu Ze Xui... heard of that?

    It's a pretty cool place.
Still very quiet but if more
    shops were to open around
there, it'll be a very happening
    place.

So let's take a look around...

    After walking around, we realised
that most shop owners leave their shop
as it is without anyone looking after it,
except for a few security guards that
do their roundings every once in awhile.

This is something definitely VERY NEW
    in Malaysia.

Ooooo me super uber love this shop...

Wished i could have bought the whole shop.
    Love every single thing.

    Merry-go-round <3333>

Okay, i know i have one at home...
but still... i want more of these.

    Me & donald duck!

    The view!

    And our dinner.........
    the infamous Full House

Extremely famous for its interior design,
    i think.

I have to admit, the design is really unique
    and pretty.

    Almost every customer would take
out their camera and start snapping
    away.

    Our drink =)

My chicken =) Pretty yummy actually

    Bb's steak.

Both looked the same right? haha.
    Of course, it tastes different.
Out of 10, i'll give it an 8.

And for dessert, chocolate brownie duh

    It's super delicious. Mouth-watering.
    Heaven melting in your mouth,
    how does that sound?
    Haha

Around 7 to 8 pm, the street would be lighted up.
    Very pretty.

Bb and i were pretty lucky because "so ngam"
they were having some disney light exhibition.

And what is disney without my all-time
    favourite, MICKEY MOUSE!
    Super cute 1! Me <3333

    Donald Duck....

    Goofy =)

    Another mickey... so kawaii right?
    I just love mickey ^_______^

The place was real pretty... no joke!

    Tigger posing!

    Owh pluto so cute!

Bb with his fav, pooh bear!

Me with pooh & piglet looking on =)

    Bb & lion king

    My love <33333>

Haha, i think this pic is super funny!!! =)

Indoor =) mickey & minnie! super cute!

Another entrance =) all lighted up as well...

Now don't you feel like going there too? Hehehe..

    Bam! Bam!

Exactly 7 more days before the katak
    tidak lagi di bawah tempurung.
    *croak croak*

    Sadness.

    Me love muah room.
    Me love muah comp.
Me love muah posters & collections.
Me hate washing clothes (gawd, how do u even do that?)
Me hate cooking (Let's hope nobody gets diarrhae)

Oh what's gonna happen to my future roomie ?

My cupboard looks like rubbish at home
    with clothes thrown everywhere.

And my maid would re-fold everything
once in awhile. But unfortunately, i cant
bring her with me to Aussie. So nobody
to help me fold clothes =(

And knowing me, i will fold it but a week later,
it goes back to the same rubbish
    condition *sigh*

I think you'll reconsider visiting my
room if you ever come to Melbourne
    for a holiday. Huahahaha

And lately, i realised that there should be
one more thing left that i should learn.
    SEWING.

For the past few days, buttons
keep dropping off, don't know why?
And i'm totally noob in sewing.

Eh but i had sewing classes before okay,
don't pray pray, when i was in primary
2 or 3... i think. Mine was always the
ugliest though. But i was still happy
i managed to sew many "x"s to form
    a rectangular border.

I wouldnt say i'm pro lar because
by the time i got the shape of a rectangular,
my best friend, Tsing Hsieh, almost finished
sewing a lil teapot on her piece.
    Bwahahahahaha

Anyway, today i went for my facial.
    And it wasnt good.

The facial lady said my face punya skin is
    in bad condition.

It seems that my forehead area is pretty
oily but my cheek areas are so freaking
dry that the red spot areas are
    turning into eczema.

Right! First my lips got eczema, now my
    face too =(

And so she tried to con my mom into
    buyin her products.

    Okay maybe not 'con' since
i havent really use it yet and
effects are yet to be observed.

And just based on this plastic alone,
you know she succeeded in persuading
my mother. Applause for her great
    PR skill.

And what "miracle" products did i get?

One 50ml mask thingy & one 50ml ultrasensitive
    skin cream.

    And total costs RM 488.

Even the number is nice. Keep 8 (canto).
For the price paid, it better be effective!

Oh wait, my mom isnt worried about
    the product being effective, she's
actually worried that i will bcome
lazy like i always do and abandon
these two tubes into some corner
to collect dust... Owh poor thing!

Okay for the sake of my "future" beautiful
SKII-like face, i'm gonna be more hardworking!
    Right....

*in serious tone* Like seriously, I have 101 problems.
Really have to do something about it!

And is it me or the weather is really super duper hot today!
I feel like jumping into a pool filled with melted ice water.

I could feel myself falling sick, like so many damn
    ulcers on my tongue!

    WTH!

    Remaining Days

Yes, as the blog title suggests....
the remaining days left to revive
    one's acquaintance with every single
    thing that one loves.

    Malaysia may not be the
best or desired place that you would wanna
    settle in comfortably after retirement.

Malaysia might not be the the first choice
for fresh graduates to look for a job at.

But admit it, you love the late night Mamak
sessions with your friends, drinking your
Teh Tarik & eating Roti Canai while rambling
    away with your grandmother stories.

And what's breakfast without nasi lemak
or chee cheong fun to satiate the hunger
    in your stomach.

    Yes, you got that right.
Malaysia has got nothing famous except for
    its food.

And kathleen <3 food to the max.
I know, it's pretty contradictory to
my usual complains that i am fat
    and all that...

..but when it comes to certain food,
i couldn't care less whether i'll be fat,
die 10 years earlier or grow a whole
face full of pimples after eating it.

You only live once. Live it to the max!

So from today onwards until i leave, all
you'll see in my blog would mainly
be food, food & food that Kathleen loves.

So this afternoon, i went to eat my one &
    only...

'Mah lat' Pan Mee in Cheras. I am so hooked
on to the spiciness of this pan mee. To be honest,
i eat this almost every friday.
Pan Mee has never tasted so good. Spiciness
is the bomb. No spiciness, no life.

Huahaha and as we were walking back to the
car after a 'spicy' lunch, my mouth was still
itching for food. And i suggested,

Fried ubi + fried pisang! Yummy.....

What's missing is the keropok lekor,
seriously! I would have gotten that as well
if my stomach wasnt bloated with pan mee.

The best ones cannot be found in shops
or pretty lil' restaurants, only the stall
    vendors make the best ones.

Arhh, i had been longing for these fried
stuff for so long. Never had the time....
*ahem* okay, that's an excuse, the real
thing is that all this while i was unwilling
to unglue my butt from my computer chair
to walk to the super closeby stall outside
my house that sells all these fried stuff.

Oh well now that bb is driving me right to
the frontstep of the stall, i think i do not need
a red carpet reason to buy my
beloved goreng pisang & fried ubi.

Okay! We were walking in town,
either Times Square or Sg Wang
when i saw this shop and couldn't
    stop myself from getting inside.

Because the thing that i wanna eat,
they keep it in a transparent fridge door.
How can i not look at it?

Kwai Lin Kou, my favourite black jelly.
Many wouldn't like this because it's naturally
bitter but i have fallen for this bitterness
ever since when i was in high school, when Mel
& I, loved it so much that we would only take
    this for lunch. It's filling!

And it tastes so nice with the honey that comes
    with it.

We walked and walked and walked
and finally left town for dinner......

On my way to dinner, another sky & trees,
    scenery picture.

    And the question........
what were we gonna eat for dinner?

    Another one of my favourites......

Steamboat. Ooooo lovely. What's so nice about
    it?

    Super spicy tomyam soup.....

n when you add it with

    super spicy chilli....

Everything taste super good. Every mouth
of it burns your throat right to the ears
and you can almost feel a fire-sensation,
both in your throat and ears.
    One word to describe it.
    HEAVEN.

Haha. I can go on and on about how
good spicy food really is. But i'm not
gonna do that. I think you get the
picture right?! Spicy food is loved.
    and love is spicy food.

Oh well, that's it for today.
Will be back with more food.

Off topic, i'm gonna be a kind soul
    before i leave to Melbourne.

I've just thrown out almost 100
    over unwanted clothes and
all these will be going to charity!

Yay to the unwanted clothes as they are finally
    free from Kathleen!

Oh well, my cupboards are full & most of these clothes,
some are brand new and others are worn a few
times. To let it go is really a waste, quoted by my mom.
But since i dont wear 'em & i need space for
more new clothes...oh well i can't help it!

    It's disheartening parting with my
clothes, especially clothes. I just love 'em more
    than handbags or shoes.

    Clothes are essential!
You wouldnt want to wear banana leaves
    around....

    ...would you?

    my version of LOVE

    Just another blog post

Finally got my Jay DVD today!

    Got this from Sg'pore.
    Super cheap lor....

    Another one to add into
    my collection.

When i went to my uncle's house
    for dinner, something caught my
    eyes....

    OMG why so black 1?
    So cool la....
    Damn yeng o....
The Johor Baru punya Sri Utama 2007
    yearbook.

It's so simple but don't know why,
i like it better that way.

Hehe wanna compare to the KL
    version?

    Don't laugh yah?

    Promise ????!!!???

This is the 2005 KL yearbook,
    looks so childish one -
used a student's art piece as
    cover.

But hor, this is my favourite
    yearbook.

I like it so much, i think it
    deserves to be framed up!

No lah, my face not pretty lar

    No lah... my crush punya
    pic also not inside lar

Just that i was part of
    the editorial board and
    i contributed quite a lot
    for this 2005 magazine.

    Now you know why it's
    so sucky. Kathleen
    curi tulang.

Guna orang lain punya art piece
    as magazine cover!
    Huahahaha

Anyway other than the mag cover
for JB Sri Utama 2007, nothing else
    is cool & impressive.

And i thought Sri Utama KL, the building
and design sucks, only to find that
Sri Utama JB looks more like a normal,
    typical government school-like building.

    Even more sien.

I think the best ever school i've
seen so far is Fairview @ (i think) wangsa
maju, close to some hills! Newly built.
    Damn nice...all made of glass!
    So modern 1!

And i remembered how some of the
girls used to always complain that there's
no leng zhai to kap at all.....?!!? And we
thought Sri Utama was damn depressing.

But after looking at the JB mag, i suddenly
feel that every guy in Sri Utama KL is
    damn good looking!

And the worst is that they only have
form 1 & 2 for UIS (utama international).
And in each class, only got like 2 or 3 students.
Omg, damn sad! How come like that 1 ?!?

Maybe they should just close down the JB
    school. Not enough foreigners ?

    Funny:
No one has heard of Sri Utama before. Hahaha.
And when i tell others i'm from Sri Utama,
they go like, is it near One Utama or something?
    Huahahahahhahaha!

    Annoying:
Those that heard of it before, especially
    taxi drivers, OMG damn annoying.
They always go like "Oh u study this school?
very expensive and lots of rich kids one o...
How much you pay ar? Warghh you
must be rich lor..." WTH. Only rich
kids can go to such school 1 meh ?!?
I'm poor one lor okay? Tahu lar
that i not rich, x payah keep
    reminding me pun..... ! Eessshhh!!
And i don't wanna be labeled like the
others as "rich spoilt brat" too.
    So insulting!

    The Cave

    This was pretty long ago.
Finally got all the pix from bb
and finally found the time to
    edit the pictures.

Before we start, here's another one of
    my photography masterpiece.

I don't know why i love taking the sky &
    trees.

I love how this picture turned out.

The bright cloudy grey sky as the backdrop
took away the natural colors of the
main object that i was focusing on.

The effects of it turned this picture
into a classic black & white.

And the fascinating part of this picture
is the top right corner which has a slight
tint of baby blue that slowly darkens
    to its right direction.

    It's almost like an interaction
of a past & present. See how the black
& white parts of the picture seems
    so mysterious, dark & unlively.
    Almost like the picture holds
a story that was left untold.

And the part with the blue sky tends
to bring out the liveliness of
this depressing black & white picture.

    Okay enough with my so-called
    artistic interpretation of my picture.

    Moving on......

22nd Jan, bb & I went to the infamous
Cave Cafe situated at SS2 to celebrate
    bb's birthday in advance.

Yes, a great place for all the uncivilized men
& women out there! No restrictions
on barbaric behaviors. That's why we
    chose this place.

    Hahaha.

    Acting jakun....

    Being jakun....

    Us.

    Owhhh, cave soup is served.

    Mushroom soup + bread????

    Modern cave food.
    And it tasted really good.

    The mushrooms were big
    and tasty.

Look cave ppl can make mocktail too.

They call this Romeo & Juliet.
    Super cute....

    Straws????

C'mon cave ppl don't use straws...
    that's so not right!

    *throws away the straws*

    This is more like it!

    It tasted pretty good actually.

    And food is served.....

Bb's steak, tasted really juicy & nice.
    Well worth the money.

    & my black pepper chicken.
Thumbs up for this as well.

    and dessert?

    Oh well, chocolate was tempting,
    unfortunately it wasnt my b'day.

So b'day boy had to decide.

    And he chose.....

    Strawberry cheesecake.

    Okay to all cheesecake lovers,
    you will definitely love this.
It's so freaking rich of cheese.
    Too bad i ain't a cheesecake fan.

Overall the food is not bad.
    Ambience is really good.

    A recommended place for Valentines
Day. If you cant afford to
book the whole restaurant just for
you & your partner, then this
is the place to go. You can have your
own private lil cave (room) to have
    your oh-so-romantic dinner. Thus,
doesnt need to share the place
    with any other couples.

The only flaw is that the lil cave meant
for each couple is a tad too small.
If only it was a lil more spacious,
    it would be perfect!

I think it'll be fully booked on
    Valentines day, so you better
    call them up real quick!

    Unique place. Must-try-at-least-once
    cafe.
