Friendship Through Time

Notice how life is divided into different phases,
almost like a new chapter each time you head on
to a new destination.

Notice how you gain new experiences and friends
in your new chapter and along the way, you slowly lose
those that you had in the past.

People come in and out of your circle through time. At the
end of the day, you could only assume that those, who will be
there for you right at this moment and those who knows you so
well right at this moment, are your "friends".

But then, you're given a mission to continue this journey, just when
you have found the people you would allow into your circle.
Just when you thought you have found lifelong companions.

And so you move on with a heavy heart, wondering tiredly
when would you have the chance to have back "those days".
Cruel but to be realistic, those days are gone FOREVER.

The new chapter begins and the story never repeats itself twice.
Your longing for the past is just greeted with sympathy.

Filled with hopelessness, you start to look for a change.
You try to fit in. Along the process, you meet new people;
people whom you would come to call friends. Intriguing but
the closer you get with these new people, the further the gap
you have with the old ones that you once called "friends" as well.

Neglect is probably the most appropriate adjective to describe
this situation... but then again, you have your reasons.

Not like you intended to but you have moved on,
so did they. And suddenly, you find your "old" friends
not knowing much about you anymore. What happened?

You're terrified. Maybe it's time to downgrade the
ones you called friends to strangers and the ones you
called best friends to just, friends. With time, one
by one, they vanish into thin air becoming no
one significant.

"Mary, who's that? Cant really remember"

or

"Oh, Mary....what about her?" with an uninterested tone.

As the victim of this on-going process for
years, i cant do anything but to be helpless.

What i can only do is to fully appreciate
the people whom i consider as friends now.
It wouldn't be long before i lose them, again.

I have to close this chapter, somehow.
Things will change, i wouldnt dare to deny.

This moment can never be replicated.

Jay, here i come

Today is the first day tickets are on sale and

there were only very few tickets left =.=

Really crazy. But then it's Jay's very first

concert in Australia.

Hopefully my seat isnt that far! =)

Oh well, doesnt matter since i've

been to his concert in KL last year.

Just gonna enjoy it better this time

round.

And of course, to have a great winter

break in Sydney =)
